Create React JS Application on Windows

In this tutorial I am going to show you how we can create React JS application in Windows environment.

Before reading this tutorial please make sure you have installed the node.js in your system. Please have a look at this here for node.js installation

Prerequisites

I’ll assume you do have some familiarity with HTML and JavaScript, but you should be able to follow along even if you haven’t used them before.

How to Install Node.js and NPM on Windows

I am going to show you how to install node.js (zip) on Windows OS. Node.js is a JavaScript runtime built on Chrome’s V8 JavaScript engine and it uses an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient. Node.js package ecosystem, npm, is the largest ecosystem of the open source libraries.

Here we will see how to install zip version of node.js, not Windows installer (msi).
